Yep! I made some Little Bitty Things!
I started with this one--
and then I tried this one--
and since it is always nice to have more of a good thing, well, I made one more!
The largest one measures 3 inches finished. The middle one is just about 2 1/2 inches finished and the little one is 2 1/4 inches finished.
I used the pumpkin pattern found HERE. This pattern is for a 6 inch pumpkin, so first I reduced it by 50%, and then reduced it a bit more for the two smaller pumpkins. The one thing to keep in mind when reducing a foundation paper pieced pattern is to keep a 1/4 inch seam allowance. When the pattern is reduced the seam allowance is reduced and if you make the pattern small enough you could end up with a seam allowance thats just a few threads wide!
So what do you think? Is it alright to be Little Bitty??
PS--I think I have now overcome my fear of paper piecing!
PSS--Can you tell I am really ready for AUTUMN??
